The VKA Mentoring Group - Come feel the power!
A place for contractors to share ideas, challenges, and solutions with other non-competitive contractors across the country facilitated by the VKA Consultants.
In the VKA Mentoring Group 10 companies in non-competing areas meet three times a year to discuss issues vital to a successful landscape contracting company. Labor, productivity, budgets, pricing, financial statements, employee problems, management, estimating, and marketing are just a few of the topics we address.
Challenges are brought up, solutions are offered by the entire group and then accountability is tracked from the group. Essentially we join the collaborative experience from 10 companies plus the Vander Kooi consulting team, to take you to another level.
When: The February & October meetings are 1½ days each in the host city of one of the group members. The Summer combined mentoring meeting is a 2 ½ day event held in different cities.
Who will attend? VKA consultants will help facilitate the February and October meeting and the companies in each group can bring up to two people per company per mentoring meeting. Additional people can be brought for $300 per person.
The third meeting, which is a 2½ day event each summer, will be held where all the mentoring groups meet together and all the VKA consultants participate in facilitating a review of the year and offer each company a chance to collaborate with companies from other groups.
How much is it? $4,900 per year if paid by November 1st, or two installments of $2,500 each due November 1st, and April 1st.
This is an outstanding value for 5 ½ total days of VKA mentoring for up to 2 people per company!
The VKA Mentoring Group Lite:
Not sure about the full VKA mentoring program? Join the Mentoring Group Lite Program. This is a 1 ½ day event with other landscape company members held in different cities each year.
This is the same type of meeting that the full program offers but it allows you to see the power of the collaboration from working together without committing you to the entire year.
February each year
1 VKA consultant to help facilitate and each company can bring up to two people per company. Extra people can be brought for an additional $300 per person.
How much is it? This great value for the first 2 people per company for 1 ½ day of mentoring and networking is only $1,400.00 if paid by December 1st, or $1,500.00 thereafter.
